The long awaited BMW’s second generation 1 series eventually made its way to South Africa. The all new BMW 1 series is packed with amazing technology and sizzling kit. Since its launch in 2004, BMW has sold over a million 1 series and they are hoping to build up from that.

The new 1 series is a bit wider and bigger than its predecessor. But everyone can agree that the most noticeable changes are on its appearance. But, the rear is much better with its horizontal detailing that has created a neat interpretation. On a more positive side though, the all new BMW 1 series offers a number of options to prospective customers. First of all, potential owners of the model will find out that the new 1 series is a lot easier to drive than it would be to configure. When you pop the trunk, you will recognize that the cabin is quite spacious with numerous storage bins. The all new BMW 1 series has a keyless entry start. This is also seen on other larger BMWs. The trend has been passed down the line up until BMW’s baby.

The 1 series also has a speed limit indicator which portrays no passing signals/information. It is also iPhone optimized to relay a number of other cars by connecting to the internet and the Bluetooth whilst it processes online software updates.

The all new BMW 1 series has a Twinpower Turbo 4-cylinder diesel engine and a TwinPower Turbo 4-cylinder petrol engine.
